Once your item is washed, take an end in each hand and twist several times. Now bring both hands together and the twisted silk should wrap around itself, leaving a loop at one end and the two ends at the other. Next, tuck the two ends into the loop, leaving the garment in a neat little knot of twisted silk. The best thing to do is to hang or place it somewhere warm like an airing cupboard or above a radiator but this is not essential. Leave it for at least 6 hours and then unravel the knot and hang to dry out completely.
